Then, I saw a "Jesus loves you" sticker at the back of an auto. Nice. Was the auto driver the keen Christian who stuck the sticker on the tree? I wondered, in passing.
Then..."Jesus loves you" on one of the road signs. Hold on, not so nice. Quick frown.
A further bit down the road and one more sticker, this time on a private hospital board. Bigger frown.
By now, I was looking around for the stickers and I saw them all over...on private signs, public signs, in one or two cases obliterating a few details of the signs.
No problems with being enthusiastic about God's love, or talking about it.... But the initiators of the campaign seem to have been willing to violate others' property or public property in the process of spreading their message. Perhaps they honestly didn't think of it...but no one would love them for it. And it would surely affect the way they responded to the message, so the whole exercise was in vain.

Hi Chech! Venkatesh here. Yeah, I agree with you. There are lots of these stickers across Bangalore. The name of Jesus has, in a way, been deprived of its glory. It has become commonplace.
In my entire life, I have yet to meet a "Christian" who even understands the BASIC concept of Jesus. His love, purity, and enlightenment. No one has defiled him as much as those who call themselves Christians.

That's exactly what Jesus said, DDK. "It is the sick who need a physician, not the healthy". As long as these "Christians" you have met recognise their "sickness" and look to Jesus as their physician - there's hope. Sorry too that the Christian community has disappointed you and that you have not met even one loving Christian yet!
